"Prodigies" is a series of pen and ink drawings of sideshow freaks in the context of famous paintings by Philadelphia artist James G. Mundie. In the tradition of the circus or carnival sideshow, where even a three-legged man would be re-invented to appear more interesting, Mundie blends fact and fancy to create new 'histories' for his subjects.
