I am a conceptual artist who works in the digital media. My work explores our interconnectedness and interdependency. I see my art as a process, a journey of discovery and an expression of the unseen. I see the visible world as an illusionary expression of patterns of energy in our minds. All my art in one way
or another seems to touch on this theme.
The installations by Canadian artist, Christian Bernard Singer, explore the space that is opened when our intellectual and emotional perceptions and experience converge. He uses nature as a way of mirroring the miracle and fragility of our own life forces to inspire awe, and to intensify/activate a visceral awareness of being alive, of being conscious, and of being an individual within a larger interconnected whole. Incorporating plant life, bronze, clay, found objects, digital media, and other elements, Singer's living installations oscillate between permanence and ephemera and turn on notions of interior/exterior space and place.
