Fresia Studios offers oil painting workshops on Lake Como, Italy. Workshops are held on certain weeks from May through October. The painting instruction is based upon French and American Impressionism, the method used by such painters as Monet, Degas, Henri, and Brackman. Students stay at an 18th century villa on the lake near Bellagio. Jerry Fresia is a nationally known writer and artist whose training in art was derived from his association with William Schultz and Wolf Kahn. He has taught art privately for over 20 years and has been featured in American Artist Magazine. He was founder and Executive Director of Red Umbrellas, an outdoor exhibition group in San Francisco.
