Born in Clarendon, Jamaica ,West Indies. Dewayne Winston Peter Bowen\'s artistry began from the Tender age of nine. Later he attended Clarendon College where he learned the fundamentals of sculpting and taught himself how to sculpt figures from silicone. His artistic style gad captured the limitless vision of nature using mediums of oil and acrylic on, canvas, paper , metal and various types of wood.His most current murals can be seen at the Caribbean Diner on North Miami Ave. and third Street Downtown, Miami, titled \"Jamaica in Miami\" as well as a duplicate titled \"Gate Way to the Keys\" at 155 NW 14th Street in Florida City.He has exhibited his work extensively in Canada, Connecticut, Michigan and all of South Florida.
Most Recently at Kuumba Music Festival in Hollywood, The City of The city of Palm Beach Gardens Community Center, Montgomery Museum of the arts in West Palm Beach, African American Artist Cultural and Heritage Show Case At the Kravis Center of the Performing Arts, West Palm Beach.
He has exhibited his work extensively in Canada, Connecticut, Michigan and all of South Florida.
